Yet another beautiful town looking down on the fortified house now connected to the river banks by a bridge, but previously separated by the river.

L'Isle Jourdain is a very active town for such a small population and throughout the year there are things going on. It is named after the fortified house built in the middle of the river by the Jourdain family.
Nowadays it is equally famous for the bungy jumping off the viaduct. This takes place every weekend during the summer.
