The veranda
Leaving the lounge for the balcony you are met by views of the garden, swimming pool and the river. It can comfortably sit 12 and during the daytime it is nice to sit and watch the others exercising in the pool, fishing or playing in the garden, whilst reading a good book or just snoozing. You are protected by a parasol.
In the warmth of the evening it provides a ring side seat for views over the river and if you are lucky - watching shooting stars.
If you manage to get up early enough then you have a good chance of seeing wonderful sunrises with mist on the river. I have lost count of the number of photos that I have taken.
There are wide steps down to the garden.
The Garden
Later in the day once the sun is up and relaxing is the order of the day then you can lounge in the pool, walk around the garden or go fishing.
In June and July all around the house you can enjoy the roses and hydrangeas. Of course you can be more active and play a game of badmington as there is plenty of space to set out a court.
Fishing

Looking down from the river from the landing stage you are met by this stunning view. And what can you catch? Well our most successful angler catches upto 50 fish a day of all sorts; from 20lb carp to smaller roach, perch and bream. Our next door neighbour catches Zander and WEls Catfish upto 60lbs.
